🗺️ Tower Progression - Floor Order & Gates

The Outer Gates (start) → The Heavenly Courtyard (after the Floor 1 Guardian). That is the entire current map — two floors, one guardian each. The gate is physical: the Guardian drops the Floor Access Key, and the road upward stays sealed until you use it. Future updates will add more floors higher in the tower.

• MAHOU.OS chips upgraded and within budget (assumed by every Courtyard fight).
• Floor 1 Guardian defeated and the Floor Access Key used on the upward gate.
• Both weapon styles polished once each at the laboratory hub.
• A stack of 5+ healing items carried through the gate — the Floor 1 vendor is far from the Courtyard.

The Heavenly Courtyard removes the training wheels: curse floors punish positioning, angels heal on contact damage, and the Floor 2 Guardian is a five-to-eight-minute gear check with two phases. The intended path is chip upgrade first (12 Courtyard materials), Divine Crown second (3 Angel Shards), Guardian last. Skipping steps is possible for strong players and miserable for everyone else.

Ephemera Games has not yet published a detailed roadmap, but the game shipped with the laboratory hub fully built out and the upper tower sealed. The Divine Seal you earn for 100% completion is strongly implied to gate future content — keep it. This page updates when patches ship.
